Payment details: The course fee is $375. Upon enrollment, a minimum deposit of 50% of the total is due to reserve your seat (if you are not applying for a scholarship). We will follow up with an email confirmation of your placement within a few business days. A pay link will be included in your email confirmation for submitting any remaining class balances.
Scholarship details: Financial aid is available for all of our learning programs. Thanks to the two-year WNC Strong: Recover Forward Scholarship Program, scholarship recipients will be eligible to receive a minimum of 80% off most courses and workshops (ScaleUp not included) and a minimum of 10 hours of free 1-on-1 business coaching. This is available for anyone in WNC at any stage of business, and no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Apply in the class registration form.

Alpine is designed for business owners with at least one year of experience who are at a pivotal moment in their journey. Are you considering expansion, growth, or scaling? Thinking about trying a new business model because the current one isn’t quite working? Or perhaps you’re exploring ways to adjust or add products and services? If you’re at a crossroads and ready for change, this course is for you!
You’ll also gain the clarity needed to decide if and when scaling is the right next step. Alpine serves as an excellent precursor to the ScaleUp Program, offering valuable insights to guide your business growth.
In week one we will revisit your business’ mission, value, and key learnings to date. From there, we will focus on what is emerging for each participant and how we can support around these challenges and opportunities throughout the course.
In week two we will focus on assessing your business’ current financial situation, look closely at what the numbers are telling us, and determine what the most critical metrics are for you to be watching in order to strengthen your financial future.
In week three, we will review all current marketing efforts and materials to date and revisit the core concepts of building and sustaining a strong brand identity, while gaining feedback from peers.
In week 4, we will brainstorm and create new ideas and pathways for connecting with our clients and customers and cast these visions in financial projections.
Week 5 also provides the setting for final presentations of participant’s action plans for moving forward, with time left for a celebration and final reflections, and discussing what support you need moving forward.

While Mountain BizWorks will continue to offer virtual classes & workshops, we are beginning to offer some learning services in person or in a hybrid format. Please check each class or workshop description to determine whether it is going to be Virtual, In-Person or a Hybrid of both.
A Hybrid Class will have a mix of in person and virtual sessions. Please review the class schedule to determine which sessions will be held in person and which will be virtual.
To attend our virtual classes you will need a steady internet connection, a computer or reliable device, and note-taking material. Please let us know if you require extra support.
Financial aid is available for all of our learning programs. Scholarship benefits include: Up to 80% off all classes and workshops, up to 10 hours of free 1-on-1 business coaching, eligibility for anyone in WNC, at any stage of business, and a commitment that no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Scholarship applications are embedded in our business coaching application as well as course and workshop registrations. Yes! We welcome a second participant- such as a business partner or manager- to join you in any course. Each participant must register separately and may apply for a scholarship individually. We offer a 50% discount to the second participant, or they may use a scholarship if awarded- whichever provides the greater discount.
